“The reason for this email is to praise one of your employees Jodi Smigelski. She has been very helpful in addressing and resolving issues with some of the manufacturers she/MSL represent. Her resolutions and recommendations have been prompt and reasonable. She is an asset to your organization and greatly appreciated by Wheelchairs Plus.
I know I appreciate when I am informed about my employees performance, either positive or negative. I assume you feel the same.”

Legislation has been introduced in Congress to create a Separate Benefit Category for Complex Rehab Technology to protect and improve access to these important products and services for people with significant functional and physical limitations.
Congressman Joseph Crowley of New York, along with a number of Republican and Democratic co-sponsors, have introduced H.R. 4378, "Ensuring Access to Quality Complex Rehabilitation Act of 2012".
We, the undersigned, strongly urge all Members of Congress to sign on as a co-sponsor of H.R. 4378 or introduce a companion Bill in the Senate.

Help Defend the Rights of People with Disabilities Around the World
Your support is urgently needed to ratify The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) Treaty. Contact your Senators today and tell them to vote for ratification.
Why is This Important?
The CRPD will improve access for Americans with disabilities that live, work, or travel abroad. The treaty is critical to maintaining America’s leadership role on disability rights and to eliminating disability discrimination throughout the world.
The CRPD embodies the protections and opportunities available through the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), but on a global scale. Ratification of the CRPD treaty would present the opportunity for a reaffirmation of ADA values and provide the forum to advance them worldwide.
How You Can Help?
We need approximately 67 Senators to support the treaty in order to ratify it. If it is not ratified before the end of the legislative session in December, we may very well be back to square one. The next several weeks are absolutely key to getting the treaty ratified. If you have ever thought about contacting your Senator on this issue, now is the time.
All you have to do is fill out this quick and simple form requesting your Senators vote for ratification. This takes only a few minutes and will be a big help in protecting the rights of people living with disabilities everywhere!
Be An Advocate!
There is becoming a greater need in the health care industry for advocates who will push to have their voices heard regarding competitive bidding. The ROHO Group has created flyers, position papers and documents that go into detail on specific issues. The main points for each document are bulleted along with a PDF link for you to utilize. Click HERE to visit thier site.
If you want to get involved, now is the time! Contact your Senators and Representative requesting that adjustable skin protection seat cushions (HCPCS codes K0734-K0737) be removed from round one of DMEPOS competitive bidding.
Congress needs to hear from you now! Your message needs to be personal but you can certainly use any of the information we’ve provided. To find your Senators and Representative, please use the links provided below:
